FAQs

Where do you ship from and where do you ship to?

Great question! Candles & jewelry are shipped from my home location in Hollidaysburg, PA and are only shipped to the USA at the moment. 

Currently, if you order any other goodies from the shop (tshirts, mugs, canvases etc.), they will be shipped from Printful warehouse – who is my third party printer. These items are also only available to the USA. 

 

Do you offer local pickup to save on shipping costs?

Absolutely! If you are local to the Hollidaysburg- Altoona area, send me a message (from the site or on social media) and I will gladly arrange for payment and a local pickup with you. 

How long will it take to receive my order?

Typically, I can have your shipment out within no more than 3 days of your order, from there you can expect your package to arrive within 3-5 business days depending on carrier.

Once the package is scanned by the post office I will not have control over how long the package will take to arrive. I am not liable or responsible for any delays, re-routes, or failed deliveries of your package. In most cases tracking will be available. 

You can expect additional time during launches or major holidays. 

 

Do you accepts returns or exchanges?

For Candles/Jewelry: We do not offer refunds or exchanges. However, if your candle arrives damaged (broken glass or dented jar for instance), we will happily offer a replacement. If you are absolutely unhappy about an item you ordered, please reach out via email to see if we can make it right: [email protected].

For other items, returns/exchanges can be directed through the receipt on your order.

 

How are your candles different than big name brands?

I pride myself on creating high quality candles that are better for your health, environment, and look great for home decor. 

I use coconut soy wax with a hint of food grade paraffin wax to create longer lasting burn, better fragrance retention and an even burn – which means better bang for your buck – or should I say better burn for your buck?  Check out each candle for more specifics on how they are made. 

Each candle has a little love in there through my hardwork & passion for creating a product that will enhance your home and your mood. 

Through my research I have found other larger name candle companies – or even other small businesses can not keep up with the price and burn time that I offer. 

HF+GV Candle: 10oz, 65-75 hrs burn time, $30

HF+GV Candle: 6oz, 35-45 hrs burn time, $20

others: 12oz, 46 hrs burn time, $60

others: 8oz, 38+ hrs burn time, $46

others: 8oz, 30-50hrs burn time, $17

others: 14.5oz, 25-45 hrs burn time, $27

If you want specifics, message me and I will give names – or feel free to do your own research in looking to see who will have better performance when it comes to ingredients, scent throw, longevity, and price. 

What if my Candle or Jewelry items arrive broken/damaged?

If this happens, we’ve got you covered. Please email us within 48 hours of receiving your package a photo of the following ASAP:

  1. a photo of the damaged item up close
  2. a photo of the box, showing all packaging used to protect the item
  3. a photo of the shipping label on the box

I found a flaw in my candle...

Welp, that could happen. Handmade candles (or most anything for that matter), can have imperfections from one product to the next. I put everything together myself, the wicks, stickers, labels, and of course mix the wax and fragrance. It is possible there could be imperfections with labeling or an uncentered wick. I try my best to be consistent, but am by far from perfect. 

I hope you can appreciate and accept these small flaws as a sign of a product well made by human hands.
